According to the Center for Disease Control, almost half of the world’s population live in areas impacted by Malaria. Travelers often venture to these beautiful and tropical places. So, here is a travel update that could change the face of the travel industry tremendously if proven successful:

If you haven’t heard, Malaria now has a vaccine. Since 2019, enzyme-based Malaria vaccines were given to specific populations in select African countries. The results have provided positive data. Thus, the next stage of larger human trials will begin on children and adults. Depending on the success of this phase, you could be traveling to the tropical shores of South America or the Indian ocean without concern for becoming the host to a mommy-mosquito’s lovely little larvae.

And, yes, the mRNA (enzyme-based) technology used for the Malaria vaccine study is the same technique used for the Covid-19 vaccine.
