Part III …

Without looking at where they were going, the girl led the woman into a house with many rooms. Though the house was empty – devoid of any occupants– all the rooms were opulently decorated and brightly lit.

The girl finally spoke, “You need to hide. He is coming. You must hide!”

Hearing the urgency in the girl’s voice, the woman turned and began looking for a place to hide. Anxiety started to swell within the woman–causing her heart to tighten and leaving her gasping for breath. Desperately, the girl’s voice rang out from behind her, “Find a place to hide!” The woman carefully entered a room with a magnificent paned window that had a clear view of the vast yard and the luminous sky. The room only contained a large dresser and some obscure objects.

Instinctively, the woman sensed that her time was running out. She crouched next to the dresser against the wall and pulled a sheer white veil over her entire body. Silently, she thought, Is this my only hiding place? Whatever I am hiding from is sure to see me!

A huge white cumulonimbus cloud unfolded through the window into plain view of where she was crouching. Then, through the creeping thunderhead cloud came a massive creature. She was shocked. To her utter amazement, the horrid creature stepped out of the huge cloud …
