Dreams Don’t Have Deadlines: Entrepreneur Spotlight- Stacked Confidential

Amber Abramson is a beautiful confident mother of two, and as of September 2020, a new G-ma! After years of working in the beauty industry as a make-up artist, COVID-19 hit, and after experiencing a life-changing emergency surgery, she began to listen to God about using all the gifts. Her vision to “normalize women of color living luxurious lifestyles” is the driving force behind Stacked Confidential, Beauty | Fashion | Food | Life.

As a plus-size fashion and beauty influencer, not only does Amber promote other women entrepreneurs and their products, but she has also just launched her first tangible product from her “Everything is Coming Up Roses” collection. I recently got the chance to communicate with the brains behind the beauty.

iBronze- Describe Stacked Confidential?

Amber- Stacked Confidential is an umbrella specialty brand featuring various products curated with luxury living in mind. 

iBronze- Can you describe your typical day?

Amber- I work two part-time jobs during the week and do make-up professionally on the weekends to make ends meet.

iBronze- How has this new business venture affected your personal and family life?

Amber- It has shown both my daughters that you can go after your dreams even when others have counted you out. 

iBronze- What motivates you?

Amber- Stability and the opportunity to live life on my terms.

iBronze- What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage it?

Amber- My fear is not using every gift God gave me before my time is up. I try to make sure I have some constant creative outlet. If I’m not working on the “Everything is Coming Up Roses” collection, I’ll just dress in some shirts and jeans. Sometimes, I will also cook and bake. 

iBronze- How do you define success?

Amber- Success is being able to live freely and monetizing my passions so that it never seems like work.

iBronze- What has been your most satisfying moment in the business?

Amber- So far, the feedback has been amazing. I’m incredibly grateful. 

iBronze- Lastly, do you have any advice for someone thinking of reinventing themselves later in life?

Amber- What are you waiting for? Time, ability, and agility are not promised.
