We’re not quite there, but food scientists have discovered something new and blue! Actually, it is red. Chemicals found in red cabbage have the natural ability to turn foods blue. So, what’s the big deal, you ask? Previously, blue foods were dyed with chemicals. If the University of California-Davis tests are conclusive, this –will mean that you might want to start growing red cabbage and selling it to food companies. Of course, you need not take such drastic actions, but keep your eyes peeled as natural blues might be just a stick of gum away!
